47. Just give it a crack, with Jane Robertson

When mum of 3, Jane, saw a need for gorgeous, quality children’s footwear that didn’t break the bank, she had an “insane” idea (her words) and Millwoods shoes was born!

Being regionally based in Wagga Wagga NSW, Jane worked tirelessly to deliver an online shopping experience that took the guesswork out of kids shoe sizing and it wasn't long before mums also began to crave the same style and comfort as their kids!

Jane answered the call by heading back to the design board to bring to life a women's range of stylish, fashion forward and ultra-comfortable shoes. Perfect for all occasions -  the mum on her feet, a casual catch up or elevated office wear, Millwoods shoes have become a timeless and versatile addition to any wardrobe. 

Building a brand and a business with no shoe design, or even retail experience, while raising a young family might be a daunting prospect to some and Jane has herself, described her choices as insanity at times; but with a strong enough WHY and a “give it a crack” attitude, Jane has made it work.
