51. Our numbers don't have to be scary, with Sara Verheyen

Let’s face it, analysing our numbers is not usually something high on the priority list for a lot of entrepreneurs!!  In fact the very thought of doing so may fill you with dread and deep rooted anxiety?!

 

But here’s the thing.  Money is the lifeblood of our business and I am passionate about education and empowerment in this space, because when we have our finances under control, EVERYTHING else will just click into place.

 

When I meet like-minded people, I geek out on the conversation, and my guest this week is one of those epic souls.  Sara Verheyen is the owner of Mareish Books, a bookkeeping and CFO services company where she helps entrepreneurs embrace the numbers side of their business.

 

She lives in Texas with her husband and two kids and in this conversation, we chat about how we can feel less intimidated by our numbers and learn to use them to make better decisions in our business.
